Return Policy
New York State’s Liquor Authority only allows us to accept return on wines and spirits that are defective. For any such defective returns we can offer a replacement of the same item, a credit card refund (with a valid receipt) or a store credit within 30 days of purchase, accompanied by the original receipt. Any wines that are five years or older are purchased at the Buyer’s risk and not subject to refund or return.
Since we cannot control the condition in which bottles are stored one they leave our premsis, returned items are subject to visual evaluation by our staff.
A restocking fee of 25% will be assesed on all returns when credit is issued.
In Store Returns
We will accept returns on unopened bottles of spirits to the store, with original sales receipt, for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Proper storage is integral to the quality of wines and sake, after sale we are not in control of an item’s storage, and as such we cannot issue a refund for wines or sake.
To return an item, bring your item to the store within 7 days of purchase along with your original sales receipt. If your items were shipped or delivered, please call us to discuss your options at 212.206.7900.
Online cancelled or returned orders
We charge a 20% restocking fee on all cancelled and returned orders. On any returned order, shipping charges are not refunded. No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 7 days of delivery.
Products being returned must be in the original box and/or packaging. Once your return is received by our team, your refund or exchange will be processed (usually within 72 hours of receipt),. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
